Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry all produce. Trim and thinly slice @scallions{4%unit}, separating whites from greens. Peel and thinly slice @garlic{2%clove}.

Once water is boiling, add @spaghetti{12%oz} to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until alkanese dente, ~{10%minutes}. Reserve ½ cup pasta cooking water (1 cup for 4 servings), then drain.

While pasta cooks, rinse @shrimp{20%oz} under cold water; pat dry with @paper towels{} and season with @salt{1%tsp} and @black pepper{1%tsp}. Heat @cooking oil{2%tsp} in a #large pan{} over high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the shrimp, scallion whites, and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are opaque and cooked through, ~{4%minutes}. Using a #slotted spoon{}, transfer shrimp to a paper-towel-lined plate, leaving the scallion whites and garlicky oil in the pan—reserve the pan.

Reduce heat under the pan with the scallion whites and garlicky oil to low. Add @crushed tomatoes{2%unit}, a pinch of salt and pepper, and as many @chili flakes{2%tsp} as you like; cook, stirring occasionally, until tomatoes have darkened, ~{5%minutes}.

Add the drained spaghetti to the same pan along with the shrimp, @feta cheese{1%cup}, ¼ cup reserved pasta cooking water, and 1 TBSP @ butter{2%tbsp} (½ cup pasta cooking water and 2 TBSP butter for 4 servings). Cook, stirring, until everything is coated in sauce and the cheese is melted, ~{2%minutes}. TIP: For a thicker sauce, add a few more splashes of pasta cooking water.

Divide pasta among bowls. Garnish with scallion greens and serve.

Shrimp are fully cooked when they reach an internal temperature of 145°.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Wash and dry produce. Trim and thinly slice @scallions{4%unit}, separating the whites from the greens. Peel and thinly slice @garlic{2%clove}.

Once the water is boiling, add @spaghetti{12%oz} to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until it’s tender, ~{10%minutes}. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water (use 1 cup for 4 servings), then drain.

While the pasta is cooking, rinse @shrimp{20%oz} under cold water; pat them dry with @paper small towels{} and season with @salt{1%tsp} and @black pepper{1%tsp}. Place @cooking oil{2%tsp} in a #large pan{} over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the shrimp, the whites, and the garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp are opaque and cooked, ~{4%minutes}. Using a #slotted spoon{}, transfer the shrimp to a paper-towel-lined plate, leaving the whites and oil in the pan—reserve the pan.

Reduce the heat under the pan that still contains the whites and garlicky oil add low. Add @crushed tomatoes{2%unit}, a pinch of salt and pepper, and as much @chili flakes{2%tsp} as you like; cook, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes have deepened, ~{5%minutes}.

Add the drained pasta to the same pan along with the shrimp, @feta cheese{1%cup}, ¼ cup of the pasta water, and 1 TBSP @butter{2%tbsp} (use ½ cup water and 2 TBSP for 4 servings). Cook, stirring, until everything is coated and the cheese is slightly melted, ~{2%minutes}. If the sauce seems thick, add a splash more of the pasta water.

Divide between bowls. Garnish with the scallion greens and serve.
